Starting a new series today, the basic idea is to try to isolate objects against the sky. Its something I've been interested in for a while as I think that too often we dont stop and look around - instead we concentrate on where we are going ( either looking straight ahead, or down at the floor ).

You might notice from the info on this shot that I forgot to reset the ISO back to 100, I'm rather forgetful and seem to have done this too often now. Credits to the camera though, I'm pretty impressed with the lack of noise.

This is another image from my "This is Britian" work. This one is an abstract, with me pre-visualising it as being similar in both form and color to the Union Jack. For me, the final image is successful, but unfortunately it is not standalone and needs the context for the viewer to understand the photograph.

I'm not 100% sure on todays post. I took these images because I liked the strong angular lines of the buildings against the plain blue sky. When I looked at them I felt that I liked them /because/ of the theme, and not without it. As such I thought I would try them as a dual image - I suppose given "bloggers block" I should really be separating them over multiple days.

This is the last image in this mini-series, I do have some more model-style images, but want to post a few different images first. The process for generating these images is fairly simple. Basically it is a case of increasing saturation and sharpness and then applying a LensBlur depth mask ( to blur the top and bottom of the images ).
